You’re Not Good Enough Book Tag

Hello book buddies! This is my first ever book tag (excited!!!!) and it was absolutely fun doing it. I was nominated by the lovely and very helpful Tracey of Books and Other Pursuits. Thanks Tracey and peeps do check out her beautiful blog.

For this tag, I wrote down 30 names of the characters on pieces of paper and put them in a bowl. I picked two random papers at a time for each question. Out of the two, I selected the one that fits best for the answer.

Okay let’s begin!

1. You only have one more spot on your spelling bee team, who would you choose to complete your team?

Peeta Melark from The Hunger Games or Prof. Snape from Harry Potter

Peeta was a super nice person and good with words but I am sure he is not good with spellings so Professor Snape it is. I love his character so so much and it would be an honor to have him in my team although I am sure I would be roasted by him a lot but anything for the win 😉

2. Both these characters want to kill you, which character would you kill first so you have a better chance of surviving?

Jake from Twilight or Jason Bourne

Hmmm…Both have killer instinct and both are dangerous. I think Jake is sweet and I may get a chance to get away from him but Jason Bourne wouldn’t even let me blink and could kill me in single swift movement of his bare hands. So, yeah I would kill Jason Bourn first.

3. You are on the bachelor or bachelorette and these are the last two people, who are you giving your final rose to?

Prof. Robert Langdon from Angels and Demons or Prof. Dumbledore from Harry Potter

Hehehehehe… I feel ticklish. Prof. Dumbledore has this amazing and charismatic personality. So yeah he deserves my final rose.

4. You have been chosen for the hunger games, which of these characters are most likely to volunteer to take your place?

Hatta from Heartless or Ichmed from The Almond Tree

Ah! I beleive Hatta would volunteer for me (lucky me 😉 ) because he is such a sweetheart. Ichmed is passionate about studies and other noble causes so I think he wouldn’t allow himself to volunteer for me.

5. You are stranded on an island, which character would you sacrifice to cannibalism?

Sherlock Holmes or Binti from Binti

Okaaaayyyy… Just thinking about Binti and her tentacles made me gag so yeah I would go for Sherlock Holmes. Double benefits in consuming him. No more hunger and I would get as smart and super sharp as him. Wink! Wink!

6. You are the next DC or Marvel superhero, which of these characters would you want as your sidekick?

Liesel Meminger from The Book Theif or Hermione Granger from Harry Potter

No matter what the question or options are, I am always going to pick Hermione. I would do her a favor and make her my partner rather than a sidekick. After all, she is Hermione the genius!

7. You’re a manager of an avocado admiring company, which character would you fire for lack of communication skills?

Primrose from The Hunger Games or Holly from Beneath the Surface

Holly being a writer/news journalist is really good at communication. She knows what to say when and how. Primrose on the other hand doesn’t seem like a person who could talk much. She is better at healing and taking care of people so in favor of her empathic nature it would be better for her to serve humanity.

8. You’ve just finished a book in which your favorite character dies, which character would most likely comfort you?

Jack from The Room or Ron from Harry Potter

Well, I am one of those readers who always cry when their favorite character dies. And no words, I repeat no words can make me feel better. Ron wouldn’t be able to handle me but cute Jack can take my mind off the death of my favorite character for a while. He is such a cutie pie.

9. It is high school, which of these characters would most likely be part of the popular clique?

Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter or Rue from The Hunger Games

Out of the two, I think Rue is most likely to be a part of the popular clique in a high school.

10. It’s your birthday, which character would have the nerve to forget?

Bailey from Dragon’s Breath Series or Lady Mechanika

Bailey cares for her friends but Lady Mechanika is such a I-don’t-give-a-damn badass.

11. You’ve just found an upcoming booktube star, which character would it most likely be?

Kate from This is Our Story or Conrad from Dragon’s Breath Series

I found Kate boring. Conrad would make a perfect booktube star with his amazing sense of humor and great comebacks. His book reviews would be funny and interesting to watch.

Jest from Heartless or Mr. Joe from Great Expectations

Jest!!!!!!!!!!!!! *makes heart eyes* Please, if this can happen in real life.

Hanna Baker from 13 Reasons Why or Zenn Bennett from Zenn Diagram

If I were a guy then Hanna Baker. (She is gorgeous). But the only possible answer now is Zenn Bennett. He is tall, dark and handsome…. and mysterious. And I love mysterious people….*sighs*
